About the Event
Introducing our newest educational program - STEM Station: science in the great outdoors! Join us this month for an interactive exploratory unit on rocks and minerals. We will study the geological features of our forest trails, test for limestone, hike through unique, hardwood forests home to a variety of plant and animal species while learning about and making models of sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks.Â
This drop off activity is appropriate for students from 3rd through 8th grade, will take approximately 3 hours, and costs $20 including materials.Â
There is an additional and separate admission fee of $3 per child and $6 for adults who plan to stay on property to enter the nature center where this activity will be held. Sign up now to reserve your space!
