About the Event

Introducing our newest educational program - STEM Station: science in the great outdoors! Join us this month for an interactive exploratory unit on chemical reactions. This month we will create our own exothermic reactions and experiment with different catalysts as well as studying chemical reactions that happen all around us in nature. Join us as we create "elephant toothpaste", test for limestone, hike through unique, hardwood forests home to a variety of plant and animal species while learning all about chemical reactions.

This drop off activity is appropriate for students from 3rd through 8th grade, will take approximately 2 hours, and costs $35 including materials.

Admission to the Tree Hill Nature Center is included for program participants. For those looking to stay on the property or visit the nature center but not participate in the program, there is an admission fee of $3 per child and $5 for adults. Sign up now to reserve your space!
