Reptile Encounter

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the reptiles found in Florida? Join us for our family-friendly Reptile Encounter educational program! You will learn what makes each reptilian group unique, how to identify key species, and why reptiles are so important. As a group, we will discuss topics and terms like invasive species, ectothermic, locomotion methods and more.

This program is structured as a 30-45 minute long presentation with 15-30 minutes at the end for participants to safetly interact with the animals under the supervison of an educator. The price for this encounter program is $17 per person. There will be no venomous species present at this program.

Admission to the Tree Hill Nature Center is included for program participants. For those looking to stay on the property or visit the nature center but not participate in the program, there is an admission fee of $3 per child and $5 for adults. Sign up now to reserve your space!
