About the Event


This two day course reviews and expands upon the concepts and techniques taught in Level 1 by diving deeper into classroom topics like field survey techniques, first aid and emergency response in a wilderness setting, research ethics and more; with hands-on techniques like capturing, restraining, sampling, and handling venomous snakes!


The Level 1 Venomous Handling Certification Course is a pre-requisite for this course.


Please note:

This course consists of two days of a combination of classroom instruction, field work in harsh outdoor environments, and hands-on training techniques which require potentially strenuous physical exertion. Participants must sign a liability waiver, be 18 years of age or older and capable of the following physical demands and mental requirements:


Physical demands -  The agility to move in various positions throughout the classroom and outdoor environment which include standing, kneeling, walking, pushing/pulling, crouching, bending, squatting, and lifting. This course includes field work where students…
