Are you a land manager, environmental consultant, first responder, homeowner, zookeeper, veterinary professional, biologist, herpetology enthusiast, photographer, or anyone who has already taken our Level 1 Venomous Handling Certification Course and is looking to go deeper? This course is for you!

This two day course reviews and expands upon the concepts and techniques taught in Level 1 by diving deeper into classroom topics like advanced venom toxinology, snakebite case studies, first aid in a field setting, wildlife capture, and more; with more advanced hands-on techniques like capturing, restraining, sampling, and handling venomous snakes.

The Level 1 Venomous Handling Certification Course is a pre-requisite for this course.

* Please note that the Level 2 Venomous Handling Certification Course consists of two days of classroom instruction and hands-on training techniques which require potentially strenuous physical exertion in a primarily outdoor setting. Participants must sign a liability waiver, be 18 years of age or older and capable of the following physical demands and mental requirements:

Physical demands -  The agility to move in various positions throughout the classroom and outdoor environment which may include standing, kneeling, walking, pushing/pulling, crouching, bending, navigating rugged terrain, and lifting.

Mental requirements -  The ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, communicate clearly, follow directions promptly, and complete a written exam.

* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions with advance notice and discussion at the discretion of our team and Medical Director. Please reach out to us to discuss special considerations.
