About the Event
This two day course hosted in partnership with Riverside Reptiles Education Center reviews and expands upon the concepts and techniques taught in Level 1 by diving deeper into classroom topics like captive husbandry, snakebite management in a captive setting, emergency preparedness, developing safety protocols, and more; with hands-on techniques and demonstrations in a captive setting!
The Level 1 Venomous Handling Certification Course is a pre-requisite for this course.
Please note:
This course consists of two days of classroom instruction and hands-on training techniques which require potentially strenuous physical exertion. Participants must sign a liability waiver, be 18 years of age or older and capable of the following physical demands and mental requirements:
Physical demands - The agility to move in various positions throughout the classroom and outdoor environment which include standing, kneeling, walking, pushing/pulling, crouching, bending, squatting, and lifting.
